What is in the cashew butter?

Cashews and a pinch of pink salt. That is the whole list. We use Fair Trade certified cashews.

How fresh is it?

We grind each batch in the week it ships. Nut butter that fresh is noticeably creamier and sweeter than jars that have sat on a shelf for months.

How long does it keep?

Months in the pantry; the best-before is on the tub. Natural nut butters separate a little over time — just stir the oil back in. Almond butter separates fastest.

How do I make cashew milk?

Blend a heaped tablespoon of smooth cashew butter with a cup of water. No straining. That works out around $1 a litre.

Which one for curries and sauces?

Cashew Smooth for creamy curries, sauces and desserts; Peanut Silky Smooth for satay and smoothies; Super 10 if you want nuts and seeds in one.

Are they gluten free and vegan?

Vegan, yes. The ingredients are gluten free, but they are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, peanuts and tree nuts, so traces are possible — see each tub for allergens.

What does delivery cost?

Free on orders of $60 or more, otherwise $15. Rural addresses add $7. Nut butters are pantry items, so they ship any weekday.

Is the tub recyclable?

Yes — the tubs are recyclable and good for reuse.
